Who am I?

Wherever the Project Takes Me
My home is my office. It's where I can spread out, make a mess and work without time constraints. Unlike your typical home office though,  I've created a pretty notable enterprise that's fully equipped with printers, a heat press, cutting machine, digital software, photo set up, a wood working shop and sewing/craft room.

When I'm not working from home I'm either working from my "mobile center" (meaning my car) or on location somewhere consulting on projects.  My clients are given various options to communicate with me and should a meeting be required, are encouraged to select times and locations that are most convenient for them so that they do not have to go out of their way.

Working like this allows me the opportunity to do things that other businesses can't. Unlike larger companies I do not have many over head expenses or any inventories to maintain which is why my clients can pretty much do whatever they want without inflated costs or required minimums as long as it fits with in their budget. Even as an independent designer, I have the same access to everything major corporations do the only difference is the higher level of service I provide and the pride I take in my work.

With a degree in Interior Design and Marketing it was only natural for me to make my way into Event Planning.

As a freelance designer for over 20 years, I've been taking on various projects and side jobs that expand my skill set and help me better understand the industries in which I provide services for my clients. From grunt work to management I've held positions in every imaginable facet and while doing so, learned how not to do business from other people's mistakes. My work experiences with catering, serving, bar tending, valet parking, floral arranging, merchandising and graphics created the perfect recipe for becoming an Event Planner.

What started as elaboratly themed and detailed birthday parties for my son, surprisingly became an extremly valuable asset when I began designing commercial properties and became responsible for planning the grand openings, relauches and promotional events that followed. Most recently the grand opening of a historical building conversion in Michigan and a 200 person, 3 day, 20 year Highschool Reunion event in Ohio.

I pride myself on being upfront and honest with my clients. I'm not interested in being rich, I just want to make a living doing what I love. I won't be the cheapest and can't guarantee what you want won't be expensive but I can promise I will do whatever I can to stay with-in budget and exceed the overall expectaions set by my clients.
